Pathfinders To Get £35 Million "Bonus"

The Government's single minded continuation of demolition as the preferred method of housing renewal has led to a further £35 million being made available to the 9 pathfinder areas. BNG (BridgingNewcastleGateshead) could get up to £3 million.

This money depends on reaching "value for money" targets. All this according to Housing Today.

Minister for Demolition, Ian Wright, announced the bonuses this week. However even the Audit Commission has said back in January that Pathfinders need to demonstrate greater value for money.

The great quango gravy train continues for Pathfinders and their boards. Spending huge sums of money to ethnically cleanse the average working family out of housing they can afford and replace this we new homes few can afford. Marvelous.
